When battling Libra, Creature of Night, also known as the Equilibrious Beast, in Elden Ring Nightreign, you’ll first encounter the Scale-Bearing Merchant, who will provide you with a list of choices. These choices include buffs (and debuffs) for your Nightfarer that can impact the forthcoming boss fight. Knowing what those choices truly mean is important — all of the Scale-Bearing Merchant’s wishes come with positive and negative effects.

You can also encounter the Scale-Bearing Merchant elsewhere in Elden Ring Nightreign. The shrouded merchant can appear across Limveld, offering perks and penalties that can impact the entirety of your playthrough.

In this Elden Ring Nightreign guide, we’ll explain what each of the Scale-Bearing Merchant wishes will grant, so you don’t have to make those important decisions on the fly.
