BitLife Independence Day scavenger hunt guide

BitLife’s Independence Day scavenger hunt features 10 themed badges you can collect by completing various objectives. You’ll find hints for each, with ads letting you unveil more information. Below is a list of every badge and their required task:

Badge Answer
Bike Badge Ride a bike
Burger Badge Become a fast food worker
Derby Badge Go to the horse races
Dream Badge Emigrate to America
Football Badge Play American football in high school
Model T Badge Buy a Ford vehicle
Soldier Badge Join the military
Star Badge Pray to the devs
Sun Badge Get a spray tan
Tea Bag Badge Travel to Boston

The easiest way to finish this scavenger hunt is to have a character born outside of the US. Most of these objectives are available in any country, letting you finish them before emigrating to America and wrapping up any you haven’t tackled.

Let’s dive deeper into how to obtain every Independence Day scavenger hunt badge.

Bike Badge

The first task of BitLife’s Independence Day scavenger hunt is to ride a bike for the Bike badge. Candywriter introduced bikes during the game’s Outdoor Lifestyle update, letting you purchase them through the Shopping menu, regardless of whether you owned the pack. You can access this by going into Assets, Shopping, and picking the Bicycle shop.

Bikes usually cost between a few hundred and a couple thousand dollars. Whether you choose a brand-new or used one is entirely up to you. As long as you buy one and ride it through your vehicle menu, you’ll knock out this quickly and easily.

Burger Badge

Your next objective is to work as a fast food worker to obtain the Burger badge. You can find this position by navigating to the Occupation menu’s full-time job section. This list randomly shuffles each year, so if you don’t see it, age up or close and reopen the BitLife app before rechecking.

Derby Badge

After you make some money and ride a bicycle around, it’s time to visit the horse races for the Derby badge. You’ll have to pay a small admission fee, with additional options to bet on a horse or just watch. Both options will knock out this objective, so it’s up to you if you’re feeling lucky.

Dream Badge

The Dream badge is up next. For this, you’ll need to emigrate to the United States. It doesn’t matter which state you end up in as long as you choose the US as your country and avoid committing crimes to make the process easier. If it doesn’t appear right away, close and reopen the menu until you spot it.

Football Badge

The Football badge is one you’ll need to complete in your character’s teenage years. For this, you’ll need to join your school’s football team. More specifically, you need to be in high school and stay athletic enough to be accepted. The easiest way to finish this is to join this team in middle school before rejoining your high school’s team.

If it doesn’t appear in the list, you can use the Time Machine to go back in time, age up, and recheck the list, or create a new character and repeat the process until it shows up. You’ll also have higher odds of this appearing if your character lives in the US.

Model T Badge

Our next goal is to purchase any Ford car. These can include anything from a Ford Focus to a pricier Ford Expedition, depending on what’s available. Since you only need to buy it, you can opt for a dirt-cheap, used car with low condition to satisfy the objective, if you wish, or splurge on a more expensive one. It’s up to you.

You can purchase cars by heading into Assets, Shopping, and visiting any car dealership. There are usually multiple for each character, with more cars available if you close and reopen the BitLife app or age up and recheck the list.

Soldier Badge

It’s time to join the army. For the Soldier badge, you’ll need to have one of your characters enlist into any military branch, from the Air Force and Navy to the army. It’s up to you which one you choose, but I went with the army during my playthroughs.

Star Badge

Have you noticed a “Pray” button on your main screen while playing BitLife? For the Star badge, you’ll need to pray to the game’s devs for rewards. Doing this requires you to press the button and watch an ad to receive whichever prize you chose.

If it doesn’t appear on your screen right away, continue playing until it does. It’s somewhat random, so your best bet is to watch out for it as you complete other objectives.

Sun Badge

One of the easiest tasks of this scavenger hunt is the Sun Badge. For this one, you’ll need to visit the salon and get a spray tan. You can find this option by heading into Activities, Salon & Spa, and Tanning Salon.

The last task you’ll find during BitLife’s Independence Day scavenger hunt is to travel to Boston. This one is tough, as you’ll need to search through the game’s vacation list until you spot Boston, Massachusetts in the list. You can choose any airplane class you wish, allowing you to save money or go on an expensive, lavish trip.

As long as you make it to Boston, you’ll knock out the task, letting you complete BitLife’s Independence Day scavenger hunt and claim its mystery cosmetic prize.
