We really had a great thing with Modern Warfare III’s weekly and limited time events.
Maybe we didn’t know it at the time. But Black Ops 6’s events by comparison have been a lackluster mess, and the King of the Dead event in BO6 Zombies unfortunately continues the trend this summer.
The rewards were data mined ahead of time by leaker Reality and they are rather underwhelming. Here’s what to expect from the July 2025 BO6 Zombies event.
BO6 Zombies King of the Dead rewards
All of the rewards in King of the Dead are just GobbleGums, according to the leaks.
To rank up the leaderboards in King of the Dead, simply eliminate zombies to earn points. Special, Elite, and Boss zombies award more points, so just slay the undead and climb the rankings. There’s nothing extra that you need to do.
Here are all of the rewards you can get in King of the Dead based on your leaderboard position. Reaching the top spots will unlock all of the rewards before it:
- Top 30
- Cache Back
- Top 25
- Shields Up
- Stock Option
- Top 20
- Free Fire
- Top 15
- Soda Fountain
- Who’s Keeping Score?>
- Top 10
- Wall Power
- Top 5
- Crate Power
- Idle Eyes
- Top 3
- Wonderbar!
- 1st Place
- Near Death Experience
- Perkaholic
And here’s how many points each zombie kill nets you:
- Regular Zombie – 1 Point
- Special Zombie – 25 Points
- Elite Zombie – 100 Points
- Boss Zombie – 500 Points
BO6 King of the Dead challenges
There are also four simple challenges to unlock more GobbleGums, but they are tied to point gains like the others, such as earning 1,000 points and other different increments. Basically, just play BO6 Zombies and you’ll get GobbleGums…which is exactly what you’ve been doing this whole time.
