Treasure Hunt event rewards in Disney Dreamlight Valley

There are only two reward items featured in the Treasure Hunt event. This one is a lot smaller than most others, but the prizes featured in it are exclusive, so if you’re interested in either one, tackling the event quests is the only way to unlock them.

Task Reward
Treasure Hunt Pirate Mast Touch of Magic furniture item
Expert Treasure Hunter Skull Motif

The Pirate Mast furniture item is the grand prize in this event. It’s a bit of a special one since it’s a Touch of Magic item, so you can fully customize and recolor the flag of this mast with any Disney Motifs you like.

To complete the Treasure Hunt event, you need to piece together a memory by solving riddles buried around the village. This is a pretty tricky undertaking, so here’s a full breakdown of how to tackle this process.

  • Find gold cracks around the valley. One golden crack spawns in a random biome each day.
  • Dig the golden crack up using your Royal Shovel to receive a clue.
  • Find the correct location mentioned in the hint.
  • Remove the obstacle you find at this location.
  • Open the golden chest you find to receive a Memory Shard.
  • Repeat this process until you find all four pieces of the memory.

There’s no way to know which biome the gold crack will spawn in each day, so you need to carefully scour all of them to find it. They’re similar in appearance to the Cheshire Cracks from the past Cheshire Chaos event, but larger and brighter, making them overall easier to spot.

How long is the Treasure Hunt event in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

The Treasure Hunt event is available to complete from July 30 to Aug. 12. This means you only have about two weeks to get it done, so getting started as soon as possible is crucial if you want to claim all available prizes.

If you’re not sure what to do next after finishing this event, there are plenty of quests to work on around the valley. You might consider tackling The Two Flames United, Collateral Damage, and Rekindling the Fire.
