Grounded 2 is now out on early access on PC and Xbox consoles, and the first task for players will be to get the best settings possible.
Doing so will be crucial if you’re on PC, as having lags and low FPS is a problem. Grounded 2 might not be a competitive shooter, but there’s a fair bit of aiming. An unwanted lag will just cause more problems that doesn’t help you or your co-op partner. Let’s take a look at some basic tips to get better performances, and prevent crashes.

Best tips to get max FPS in Grounded 2
Before I get down to the best possible settings, let’s ensure you have got the basics correct.
- Updated graphic drivers: Perhaps the easiest thing to miss, it’s always advisable to update your driver after an update drops. Both AMD and Nvidia releases updates related to a new launch which will certainly improve your performances. You can automatically get the latest update, or manually download and install the updated files.
- Disable V-Sync: This is a must do for Grounded 2 since there are plenty of performance issues on PC. Disable the V-Sync to improve the general performance (advisable for all hardware setups).
- Cap the FPS: This one might seem bit contradictory with the title of this article. After all, how can you get max FPS if you cap it in the first place? But remember, the game is in early access and far from being a finished product. It’s better to cap the FPS to a reasonable number that your PC should be able to handle easily. This option can be reduced later once we get a few patches.
