I’ll admit it: I was one of those kids who dreamed of becoming a lawyer as an adult. I may not be one in real life, but becoming one in BitLife is easier than you’d expect. That is, if you know the steps to pursuing this role.
Becoming a lawyer in BitLife can be tricky if you’re unsure which university degree to pursue or how to secure the job after. Let’s dive into how to become a lawyer for your next achievement, challenge, or scavenger hunt.
How to become a Lawyer in BitLife
Pursuing a lawyer job in BitLife requires getting a law school degree. The easiest way to achieve this is to obtain a university degree in criminal justice, but you can also go for English or political science. From here, you’ll find positions such as Law Clerk or Junior Associate, each with a weighing scale emoji next to their names, for which you can apply.

The first step to becoming a lawyer is getting the right education for this career path. First, you’ll need to graduate from secondary school without dropping out or committing any crimes. At the very least, if you need to commit a crime for one of BitLife’s weekly challenges, avoid getting caught or emigrate to another country so you’ll stay eligible for the job later.
Once you graduate from secondary school, apply for a criminal justice, political science, or English degree in university. If they don’t appear right away, close and reopen BitLife or age up and recheck the list. Criminal justice is overall your safest bet, but any of these three will work. After completing the program, apply to law school and finish its set of courses.
Now that you have the right certifications for a lawyer job, look for a Law Clerk or Junior Associate position in your full-time job list. Like before, if it doesn’t appear right away, close and reopen BitLife or age up. Once you find the job, apply for it and pass the interview to become a lawyer.
The lawyer job in BitLife offers multiple paths to take. Below are some examples of promotions you can receive:
- Junior Associate
- Associate
- Junior Partner
- Partner
Each promotion comes with a pay raise. By the time you become a Partner, your progress will typically pause aside from additional raises. However, after working in the industry for over 30 years, you’ll be eligible for a Magistrate job, allowing you to become a judge. Here are some examples of roles you’ll find:
- District Court Judge
- Associate Chief Justice
- Magistrate
- Magistrate Court Judge
Working toward becoming a judge has multiple benefits, from more money to completing challenges and achievements. It’s up to you to decide which path you pursue.
