The 2025 installment of the Parks Fest event has arrived, and there are lots of special items you can earn throughout it in Disney Dreamlight Valley. To do so, you have to tackle several tricky tasks like the Squirrel! duty.
This quest doesn’t give you any helpful information beyond the name acting as a slight hint as to what needs to be done. It’s not really enough to help you get going on this task, so if you’re stuck, here’s how to complete Squirrel! in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to complete the Squirrel! duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the Squirrel! Parks Fest event duty in DDV, you need to craft one Dug Popcorn Bucket. This is one of several different buckets you can craft throughout the event, but it’s the only one that works for this new task.
How to craft Dug Popcorn Bucket in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You need four different types of Buttons to craft the Dug Popcorn Bucket, including Green Buttons, Blue Buttons, Flower Buttons, and Purple Buttons. Here’s how many you need of each type and how to get them.

| Purple Button | Five | Can be crafted using one Blue Button, two Red Buttons, and 100 Dreamlight. |
Gathering all of the Buttons you need to make this item can be a pretty time-consuming process. If you’re not up for the challenge, you might want to try using the Uncrafting Station to make it a bit easier. You can use this machine, which is unlocked during the Cheshire Cat’s level seven The Uncrafting Station quest, to break down already made buckets for parts.
How to unlock Dug Popcorn Bucket in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You can unlock the Dug Popcorn Bucket by opening the A Squirrely Situation… letter from Gameloft in your mailbox or by completing all of Mirabel’s event quests. This item was meant to be obtainable only by finishing all of Mirabel’s tasks, but since they’re quite tough to get done within the event timeframe, the devs sent the recipe and crafting resources to everyone.
Mirabel does still have three event tasks you can tackle if you want to use this method for unlocking the Dug Popcorn Bucket. All of her quests are based on finding and interacting with critters around the valley.

Squirrel! reward in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Completing the Squirrel! duty gets you two reward items, which are the Dug Pupcorn Bucket furniture item and the Handheld Dug Popcorn Bucket accessory item. They’re both the same item, but one can be placed around the valley while the other can be held by your character.
If you want to collect all of the buckets featured in Parks Fest, there are plenty of other duties you need to finish. All of the other tasks you can complete to earn additional buckets are Mine Time!, Oh, Bother, Craftily Ever After, Destination: Imagination, A Shining Icon, and Stitch-y Situation.
