Buried treasure in sand in disney dreamlight valley

You’re sent on a bit of a scavenger hunt for some missing items during your adventures in Skull Rock in Disney Dreamlight Valley. One of the key items you’re tasked with finding is the buried pirate treasure.

Since you’re only given a vague map and no real direction for finding this item, it’s fairly tricky to track down. It’s especially tough to locate since it’s not somewhere you’re likely to look. Here’s how to find the buried pirate treasure in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

The buried pirate treasure is hidden over on Ariel’s deserted island in DDV. You can access this secret area by using the boat near Skull Rock. If you don’t remember where this is, head to the very southeast end of Dazzle Beach and look for the tiny island just off the coast. Ariel’s boat is a brown raft with a white sail that’s sitting near the very south end of the valley, right by this island.

Interact with Ariel’s boat to travel to the hidden beach area. This is the same region you visited back when you first unlocked her. It’s a small region with not much to do, but quests do occasionally task you with venturing to this location.

Once you’re on the island, turn left to find the buried pirate treasure right near the water. It’s also fairly close to the pillar puzzle you may have previously completed for Aladdin during the All That Glitters quest.

The buried treasure is a small sand mound with a black flag that has a white skull on it. It looks the same as some of the piles you may have run into while exploring Skull Rock, but it’s a lot more important since it’s essential for progressing The Music’s on the Walls quest.

To acquire the buried treasure, equip your Royal Shovel and dig it up. Inside, you’ll find a few Gems and Minerals you don’t need for the quest, but you’ll also find the special Pan Flute item. This is an essential quest object that you need to get closer to unlocking Peter Pan. With this step out of the way, you can move on to finding all Glowing Musical Notes, which is the other item you need to move forward in The Music’s on the Walls quest.
