The “ARMR0002 error” in ARC Raiders is an unfortunately-named error code with a bunch of letters and numbers that basically means the game is having internet connection-based problems. In most cases, this is because there are server issues.
This error code has been popping up since the game’s early playtests, and while there likely isn’t a go-to fix to get it to stop happening, there are a few things you can try to do since the error appears to do with your connection to the game. The error also happens and prevents players from joining up with their friends.
First, try re-launching the game to see if the issue subsides. If not, there may be a problem with your own internet connection, so reset your modem to try and iron out any possible issues on your end. If the problem persists, it’s likely a bigger underlying issue with the ARC Raiders servers and Embark Studios will need to deploy a fix, or the dilemma may eventually subside on its own.
If you’re looking for a more focused area of help, try joining the official ARC Raiders Discord server and letting the team know that you’re having problems. You may also find other players experiencing the same issue, which would indicate a widespread server outage that is out of your hands entirely.
You may need to step away from the game to touch grass before you can eventually touch grass in-game outside of Speranza while ARCs and Raiders hunt you down. Just sit tight and keep troubleshooting your own game and connection if you are impatient.
