BitLife characters traveling in a luxury car

Did you know you can travel around the world in BitLife and experience life’s wonders? Well, kind of. Although you won’t see any scenery, your character can visit different countries around the world and receive a happiness boost, depending on their interactions during their holiday.

Traveling to Boston, in particular, is trickier than it sounds. Usually, the locations you visit range from festivals around the world to a country’s capital city. The United States has numerous capital cities in each state, making it difficult to narrow your search down to just one.

How to travel to Boston in BitLife

You can travel to Boston by heading into Activities, Vacation, and Plan a Vacation. Here, you’ll see a list of countries and, occasionally, states in the USA. Your goal is to find Boston, Massachusetts, in this list.

However, there is a caveat with this. The list is completely random, and you can only refresh it by closing and reopening the BitLife app, aging up, or swapping to another character. Restarting the app is the easiest option of the three.

If you’re unlucky, finding Boston will require multiple resets. There are hundreds of options you can encounter, from Florida’s Disney World to the Great Wall of China, so you’ll have tons of tourist spots to cycle through until you find Boston. From this point onward, whether you see the option is entirely luck-dependent. Patience is key.

Once you find Boston on your vacation list, you can pick your travel class before confirming your option. Your travel class will depend on whether you’re traveling to Boston for a scavenger hunt, an achievement, or a weekly challenge. If you want to save money, you can go budget or economy, while first-class is a solid alternative if you want to increase your character’s happiness significantly.

After planning your trip, there’s a chance you’ll encounter a random event that influences your enjoyment. This can range from a random mugger attempting to steal from you to your character deciding which tourist attraction to visit. It’s rare for anything bad to happen, but it’s still worth thinking about your options before choosing, just in case.

Aside from boosting your character’s happiness, the main benefit of going on vacations to Boston is to satisfy the challenge and event requirements. For example, you might find a challenge objective asking you to go on first-class trips to random countries. In other cases, it’ll specify that you need to travel to Boston, such as during the limited-time Independence Day scavenger hunt.
