Football Manager 26 is now available in Advanced Access beta. While Sports Interactive has secured many key licenses for this edition of the game, you will still need to use a facepack to cover all your bases. Here’s how you can do so.
How to install a facepack in Football Manager 26
For this task, you’ll need to download a facepack. There are multiple ones available on the internet (I use DF11, but you can go for any one you like).
- If you’re yet to install Football Manager 26, do that first. Start the game once to create a save folder.
- Go to the Documents folder of your PC.
- Open the Sports Interactive subfolder.
- Open the Football Manager 26 subfolder.
- Open the graphics subfolder.
Now, go back to the facepack that you have downloaded. If it’s compressed, extract all its contents to this graphics subfolder. Extract the facepack folder as a whole, and not its individual contents. If the process works properly, you’ll find the facepack folder within graphics.

Next, open and check if the graphics have loaded. If not, then close the game and Steam, and restart the game once more. Unlike the last few years, we don’t have to reload the graphics from scratch.
You’ll notice that all the facepacks you have added will show up in Football Manager 26. You can also apply updates to the facepack by the same method. You can also use the method to install trophy images, club logos, and more.
Doing so is completely safe, and there’s no risk of a ban whatsoever. If you want to remove the facepack, just delete the files from the Sports Interactive folder, and they will be gone.
