Late last year, Naughty Dog revealed that its next game will be Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, a new sci-fi story set thousands of years in an alternate future. While the game may still be years away, its leading actress, Tati Gabrielle, recently shared her experience filming her part as bounty hunter Jordan A. Mun for Naughty Dog director and studio chief Neil Druckmann.
“It’s a different medium,” Gabrielle told YouTube channel HotCorn. “I really appreciate Neil Druckmann and the way he directs me through the game as well. I appreciate the way that he has done games [by] making them very grounded despite being in these fantastical sort of worlds.”
Gabrielle went on to describe wearing a motion-capture suit on stage while Druckmann describes what her character is looking at and what she’s doing. She equated it to being like a child, “when you didn’t have the costumes necessarily … and you wanted to to to escape and lose yourself into a world. I’ve been having a lot of fun doing that the game is going to be incredible. I’m really excited for people to play [it].”
