Oct 30, 2018, Apple held an event at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, where it unveiled a new MacBook Air with a Retina display. It also released iPad Pro and Apple Pencil updates, and an upgrade to the Mac mini. Apple’s Tim Cook posted this after the event:
On October 30, 2023, Apple held its “Scary Fast” event, where the 13-inch MacBook Pro was discontinued and replaced by the M3 14-inch MacBook Pro.
