Deepu Talla of NVIDIA will deliver the opening keynote at RoboBusiness 2025.

At RoboBusiness 2025, Deepu Talla, vice president of robotics and edge AI at NVIDIA, will deliver the opening keynote on “Physical AI for the New Era of Robotics.” He will speak at 9:30 a.m. PT on Wednesday, Oct. 15, in Santa Clara, Calif.

The big bang of generative AI for the physical world is here, according to Talla. Physical AI, where models can perceive, reason, and act in real-world environments, is redefining what’s possible in robotics.

The world is moving beyond static, rule-based automation and toward adaptable, intelligent autonomy—capable of handling the complexity of unstructured and high-variation tasks.

NVIDIA, together with a vibrant ecosystem of hardware, software, and robotics partners, said it is accelerating this transition. Through simulation-first development, foundation models, and real-time edge deployment, the next generation of robots is being trained in virtual worlds and scaled seamlessly into physical ones.

This is more than a technological breakthrough, Talla said. It marks the beginning of a new era where intelligent machines help power the $50 trillion global economy.

NVIDIA has positioned itself at the forefront of physical AI in recent years. In May, the company announced Isaac GR00T N1.5, the first update to its open, generalized, customizable foundation model for humanoid robot reasoning and skills. It also unveiled Isaac GR00T-Dreams, a blueprint for generating synthetic motion data.

In addition, providers of humanoids and other robots such as Agility Robotics, Boston Dynamics, Fourier, Foxlink, Galbot, Mentee Robotics, NEURA Robotics, General Robotics, Skild AI, and XPENG Robotics have adopted the NVIDIA Isaac platform to accelerate development and deployment.

Founded in 2004, RoboBusiness is the premier event for developers and suppliers of commercial robots. RoboBusiness is produced by WTWH Media, the same company behind The Robot Report and the Robotics Summit & Expo.

There will be 60-plus speakers in the conference, a startup workshop, a robotics startup competition, networking receptions, and more. Over 100 exhibitors on the show floor will showcase their latest enabling technologies, products, and services to help solve your robotics development challenges.

Along with NVIDIA’s Talla, keynotes at the show will feature:

  • Lessons Learned from the First Humanoid Deployments: Melonee Wise, chief product officer at Agility Robotics; Katlyn Lewicke, head of global automation strategy & intel at GXO Logistics; and Jim Fan, the director of AI and a distinguished scientist at NVIDIA
  • The State of Robotics: Sanjay Aggarwal, venture partner at F-Prime; Jon Battles, vice president of technology strategy at Cobot; Amit Goel, director of product management for autonomous machines at NVIDIA; and Brian Gaunt, North America vice president of digital transformation at DHL Supply Chain
  • Redefining the Future of Surgical Robotics: Iman Jeddi, the senior vice president and general manager of da Vinci platforms and product operations at Intuitive Surgical

RoboBusiness will also have six conference tracks covering physical AI (new for 2025), humanoids (new for 2025), field robotics (expanded for 2025), business development, enabling technologies, and design and development best practices.

The event will include speakers from leading companies such as ABB, Amazon Robotics, Ambi Robotics, Dexterity, Diligent Robotics, and PickNik Robotics.

RoboBusiness will be co-located with DeviceTalks West, the premier industry event for medical technology professionals, currently in its ninth year. Both events attract engineering and business professionals from a broad range of healthcare and medical technology backgrounds.
