Season 2 of Disney Plus’ Percy Jackson and the Olympians got its first look on Thursday at San Diego Comic-Con, revealing what Percy will get up to in the new live-action adaptation of The Sea of Monsters, the second book in Rick Riordan’s Greek mythical fantasy.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 will pick up one year after the events of season 1 — based on The Lightning Thief — and sends Percy (Walker Scobell) back to Camp Half-Blood “to find his world turned upside down,” according to Disney’s official synopsis. Season 2 will explore Percy’s evolving relationship with Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) and missing best bud Grover (Aryan Simhadri), and the camp’s conflict with the forces of the Titan Kronos.

Season 2 will also introduce viewers (and Percy) to his half-brother cyclops Tyson, played by The Half of It’s Daniel Diemer. New to the cast are Tamara Smart as Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus, and Courtney B. Vance, who takes over the role of Zeus for the late Lance Reddick. Fan-favorite characters Nico and Bianca di Angelo (Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie) also join the cast. Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jason Mantzoukas are also seen in the trailer, as are Sandra Bernhard, Kristen Schaal, and Margaret Cho’s The Gray Sisters.

The second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians debuts on Disney Plus on Dec. 10. A third season is already confirmed.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians is based on Riordan’s bestselling book series of the same name. It takes place in a world where the Greek gods are real, and continue to have children with mortals. Percy is one such half-blood. There are now several spin-off series, and a whole host of other books set in the world. In 2011, the first book was adapted into a movie starring Logan Lerman. Fans didn’t like it, and neither did Riordan.
