Warframe is coming to a dining room table near you.

Developer Digital Extremes is collaborating with Pathfinder creator Paizo Games on a new TTRPG module for Warframe, using Paizo’s Starfinder system. They’ve created a standalone tabletop adventure that will launch in October 2025, and it’s called Warframe x Starfinder: Operation Orias.

“This is just from mutual love and respect and camaraderie,” said Warframe creative director Rebecca Ford during a preview event. “We had a conversation with them, and next thing you know we were making a Warframe official TTRPG module.”

Operation Orias was announced at TennoCon 2025, Digital Extremes’ annual fan convention for all things Warframe

Starfinder is an adaptation of Paizo Games’ popular Pathfinder system. Whereas Pathfinder is geared towards telling fantasy stories, Starfinder is meant for sci-fi adventures. It’s known as a rules-heavy system — making it a seemingly good fit for a Warframe adaptation, given how many interlocking systems, skill trees, and abilities make up that game.

Players can take Operation Orias for a test run at Gen Con this August. Paizo will be showing a limited excerpt at its booth. Gen Con will be held in Indianapolis from July 31 to Aug. 3, 2025.
