What to expect from the Eevee Grove expansion in Pokémon TCG

The Eevee Grove booster adds more than 100 cards to TCG Pocket, many of which are either part of the Eevee evolution chain or thematically related to it. Here are some highlights:

  • Flareon ex, a fire-type Pokémon with 150 HP. Once during your turn, you can use its Combust ability to attach a discarded fire-type energy to it. Its attack, Fire Spin, costs two fire-type energy and one colorless-type energy, deals 130 damage, and discards two fire-type energy.
  • Sylveon ex, a psychic-type Pokémon with 140 HP. Its Fairy Wind attack costs one psychic-type energy and one colorless-type energy and deals 70 damage. If you evolve an Eevee into Sylveon ex, you can use the Happy Ribbon ability to draw two cards.
  • Leafeon, a grass-type Pokémon with 90 HP. Its Leaf Blast attack costs one colorless-type energy and deals 10 damage, but 20 extra damage for every grass-type energy you’ve attached to Leafeon.
  • Yet another Vaporeon. Still water-type, this one has 120 HP. Its Water Whirlpool attack costs two water-type energy and one colorless-type energy, and has the same effect as the Team Rocket Grunt: Flip a coin until you get tails, and discard one energy from your opponent’s active Pokémon for every heads you land.
  • Eevee Bag, an item that has two effects, though you can only choose one when played: Eeveelutions deal 10 bonus damage to your opponent’s active Pokémon, or heal 20 HP for all of your Eeveelutions.
